It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Thomas on May 9, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on March 4, 1952, to Anthony Lawson and Mary Spann.

Brenda was a beloved wife to Charles Thomas Sr., whom she married in 1972. Together, they raised three children: Charles Jr., Tyrone (spouse Tammie Jones-Thomas), and Juanita. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren.

Brenda attended Tompkins High School, where she graduated in 1970. She then went on to work at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2003.

Brenda will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
