Alberta Johnson was born December 17, 1942, in Jackson, Mississippi.  She was the fifth of seven children born to the union of Charlie and Dorothy Johnson.  Albert was known to her friends & family as "Big Al."  With her loving heart, there was never a person Alberta wouldn't help.

Alberta was a true believer in God and raised her five children to always trust God. She attended Monument of Faith Church from 1984 to 2010 until she became ill in 2015.

Alberta made her transition to glory on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  She is preceded in her transition by her Mother and Father.  Sisters: Mary and Lula.  Brothers: Charlie Jr., Jimmie, and Michael.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memories; sister: Dorothy Allen; five children: Marilyn, Wayne, Tracey, Keith (Takisha), Joanne (Bobby); the loves of her life seven grandchildren: Antionette, Tamara, Keith II, (Twins) Darria, Derrica, and Alana.

Alberta was loved and cherished by her family and friends. She touched many lives and was respected by her community.
