Michalek, Allen L.Allen L. Michalek, age 66, a Manitowoc resident, died on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.Allen was born on August 13, 1951 in Two Rivers, son of the late Anton and Joan (Biel) Michalek. He attended Washington High School, Two Rivers. On October 14, 1972 he married the former Carol Dellemann in Krok, WI. Allen was employed as a machine operator with Mirro Aluminum Company for 31 years. Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting, Gamblers games, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, great grandkids and the three little girls that called him Grandpa. Survivors include his wife: Carol Michalek, Manitowoc; three children: Glen Michalek, Carrie (Todd) Gaudette, Steven Michalek, all of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Melissa Krueger (fiancé Ryan Kettner), Shiocton, Samantha Griffith (special friend Dylan Evenson), Manitowoc, Dustin Remiker, Manitowoc, Miranda Remiker (special friend Zac Moran), Green Bay, Devin Remiker, Colton Pellow, Justin Gaudette and Janessa Gaudette, all of Manitowoc; four great grandchildren: Brayden Griffith, Elijah Griffith, both of Manitowoc, Corbin Kettner and KayCee Kettner, both of Shiocton; three little girls that call him Grandpa: Esmea, Zoriah and Genevieve; one brother and sister-in-law: Jim (Patty) Michalek, Two Rivers; and two sisters: Gail Shimulunas, Two Rivers and Bonnie Nonan, Janesville. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and other friends and relatives.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc.
