FREMONT — Anna Ann Marie 'Ann' Mueller of Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana, aged 98, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Woodview Healthcare of Fort Wayne. Ann was born on May 28, 1916, in Holgate, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence J. and Pena (Huber) Bauer. She married Carl F. Mueller at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon, Ohio, on April 21, 1940. He preceded her in death March 17, 2006. Survivors include daughter, Mary Koehlinger and daughter Joan and son-in-law Jay Solomon; grandsons, Michael (Jacqueline) and Daniel Solomon; and two great-grandchildren, Jenevieve Kimmel and Jacob Solomon. Throughout her life, Ann was very active in her church as an organist, choir member and participant in many women's groups. Community activities showed her sweet and loving personality, especially volunteer work with children and babies. She was an avid reader, a skillful knitter and loved to play bridge with her many friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Oct. 23, at Clear Lake Lutheran Church, 270 Outer Drive, Clear Lake, with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Calling will be from noon until 2 p.m. with the service and burial following. The family requests that any memorials be made to the church. Beams Funeral Home in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
