Anne Elizabeth (Weber) Rosemark, 65, of Wellington, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Cleveland Clinic-Fairview Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1951, to the late Robert and Eva (nee Camp) Weber in Oberlin.
Anne married the love of her life, Mark, on July 14, 1973, and they shared 43 wonderful years together. She was a member of the Class of 1969 at Wellington High School, and went on to receive her degree in physical education from Bowling Green State University. She had a teaching career spanning more than 29 years, having spent time at the Lorain County JVS, Elyria Edison School, and finishing her career in the Wellington school district. Her passion for teaching and advocating for students with special needs touched the lives of many. She was active in the community and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 8. Along with her husband Mark, she was instrumental in forming the Brighton Soccer Association, which became the Wellington Soccer Association. She then became the first WHS girls varsity soccer coach. She was a little league softball coach, a Girl Scout leader, and a Cub Scout leader. Anne's creative talents were many: She was a founding member of the Gingerbread House Ladies and many people have her art, punch tin, and sewing in their homes.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, CarrieAnne (Patrick McConnell) Rosemark of Fairview Park, Nicholas (Jennifer) Rosemark of Wakeman, Christopher (Megan) Rosemark of Suffield, and Jill (Tim) Rea of Rittman: grandchildren Joseph, Kathleen, Madeline, Mark, Riley, Austin, and Edison; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Joan Wise and Michael Weber. She was preceded in death by her parents.
