Antonio Vincenzo Mazulla January 7, 1928 - December 1, 2016 Columbus, GA- SSG (Ret) Antonio Vincenzo Mazulla, 88, of Columbus, Georgia died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Hwy 165 Fort Mitchell, AL 36856, with military honors. Antonio Vincenzo Mazulla was born on January 7, 1928 in Bristol, Connecticut to the late Salvatore Marzullo and step mother Mareatta Marzullo. He joined the Merchant Marines and served with them from 1945 ~ 1948 and joined the U.S.
Army faithfully serving his country from 1948 until his retirement in 1969. Antonio married his first wife after he joined the Army, the late Irmgard Freida Radney. They had a son, Michael H. Mazulla, whom survives him, Antonio retired from the Army, moved to Bristol, Conn. for four years, 1970 – 1974. Then moved to Columbus, GA July 4, 1974 where he worked at Woodcraft by Frank McDonald as a cabinet maker. He then went into civil service at Ft. Benning's Martin Army Community Hospital where he retired from. He is also preceded in death by three sisters, Lucy Marzullo, Mary Marzullo, and Ida Elton Marzullo; two brothers, Frank Marzullo and John Marzullo. Antonio was married twice, to Irmgard Mazulla and then to Daisy Eunice they too have preceded him in death.
