Arlene Halvorsen1930 - 2014Arlene Halvorsen, 83, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family.She was born on Sept. 3, 1930, in Park Falls, Wis., a daughter of the late Ira and Ruth Jacobsen Isham. Arlene moved to Kenosha in 1950 and met Delbert Halvorsen. They were married in Waukegan in 1955. He preceded her in death in October of 2007.Arlene was employed by St. Catherines Hospital in the administration and billing dept. for 30 years, retiring in 1987.She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed line dancing, volunteering at the Salvation Army, Kenosha Hospital and voting and polling stations.Arlene is survived by her three children, Richard Halvorsen of Kenosha, Kathy (Don) Dykstra of Kenosha and Jon (Brenda) Halvorsen of Pleasant Prairie; seven grandchildren, Chad (Cate) Halvorsen, Cole Halvorsen, Ashley (Ben) Lutterman, Emily Burden, Taylor Halvorsen, Brooke Halvorsen and Tiffany (Karl) Zuberbuehler; two sisters, Shirley (Bill) Yszenga-Gray of Kenosha, Carol (Larry) Oettel of Oshkosh; one brother, Bob (Chris) Isham of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Janet (Arthur) Pacetti, and brothers-in-law, Herbert Knautz and Harry Langerman.
