Passini, AttilioAttilio J. "Bepo" Passini, age 91, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 02, 2016. He was born on September 7, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the son of Silvio and Anella (Martini) Passini. Bepo served in the United States Navy from 1944-45 and saw action in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. On May 21, 1949 he married Doris B. Stephan in Cascade, WI. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2016. Bepo owned and managed Passini Cheese Factory near Cascade in the 1960's specializing in Italian cheeses. After selling the factory he worked in the 1970's as an appliance salesman at Tempo Store in Fond du Lac. Bepo then received an Associates Degree from MPTI and went to work for the City of Fond du Lac Assessor's Office until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, American Legion Trier-Puddy Post #75, and the Romeo Club. Previously Bepo had volunteered at St. Francis Home, Bethany House, and worked part time as a utility clerk at Younkers.Surviving are his six children, Jeff (Debbie) Passini of Fort Worth, TX, Joli (Darryl Driscoll) Passini of Fond du Lac, Jennifer (Daniel) Siegel of Wauwatosa, Mitchell (Cathy) Passini of Rolla, MO, Amy (Michael Daub) Passini of Milwaukee, Patrice (David) Bolthouse of West Bend; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Passini; one brother, John Passini; one sister, Elisebethe Raeder.He will be loved and missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.Visitation will take place on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church-Holy Family Parish, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935.
