AUBURN — Audrey E. Mettert, 88, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. Mrs. Mettert was born on September 10, 1928 to Dale and Alberta (Mobley) Kreischer. She married Lacy Mettert on December 7, 1946 in Auburn. He resides in Auburn. Mrs. Mettert was a homemaker. She was a member of the Indian Village Church of God in Auburn. She loved to travel and enjoyed camping. Survivors include husband, two sons, Thomas Mettert of Auburn and John Mettert of Garret; a daughter, Linda Pickleseimer of Auburn and a daughter and son-in-law; Sue and Dexter Simanton of Oviedo, Florida; 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter; Mary Mettert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at 11 a.m. at the Indian Village Church of God, 602 Erie Pass, Auburn. Burial will take place at the Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett. Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Dale Stoops of the Indian Village Church of God. Memorials may be directed to the Indian Village Church of God.
