Barbara L. EastmanLaingsburg, MIBarbara Lenor Eastman December 4, 1949 - March 21, 2017 Barbara L. Eastman, age 67 of Laingsburg went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the House of Prayer in Haslett with Pastor David Cokkonaugher officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Plains Cemetery in Shaftsburg. Family will receive friends on Friday at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Laingsburg Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Barbara was born on December 4, 1949 in Owosso, the daughter of Vernon and Lulu (Hardy) Bailey. She was a graduate of Perry High School, class of 1968. She has worked for Michigan National Bank and Farm Bureau Ins. in Laingsburg but loved being a homemaker and mother. On May 29, 1971 she married Timothy Eastman in Owosso. Barbara loved cheering on the spartans, enjoyed anything outdoors and archery with her husband. She loved her church family and loved the Lord. She is survived by her husband, Timothy, children, Michelle (Kevin) Fabus and Michael (Jessica) Eastman, three step-children, Timothy II (Melissa) Eastman, Shannon Fukuyama and Shane Eastman, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty (David) Bigford and Wanda (Mike) Pierce, brothers, Gail (Sue) Bailey and Dennis (Connie) Bailey. She was predeceased by three brothers , Vernon, Robert and Gary, and step-son-in-law, Peter. Memorials are suggested to the House of Prayer.
