Barbara Jean Hill of Kingwood Texas passed away on March 15, 2014 after a 14 year battle with cancer. She was born on March 11, 1943 in Sarver, Pennsylvania to the late Genevieve and Joseph Penvose. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed reading, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family. She moved from Sarver to Kingwood Texas in 1983.

She is survived by Frederick, her husband of 54 years, their children, Frederick Michael(Diane) of Upland California, Terry Lee(Janet) of Aspinwall Pennsylvania, Charles Edward(Ann) of Humble Texas, Robert Alan of Porter Texas and Jennifer Lynn Hill-Ruiz(Gregg) of Humble Texas; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joseph(Betty) Penvose, and her sisters Karen(Dennis) Crawford and Sarah(Joseph) Spana.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Josh Hill and a sister Dorothy Morford.
