Schwartz, Barbara L.Barbara L. Schwartz, age 68, of Cedar Grove, WI; formerly of Port Washington, WI passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.She was born on January 8, 1949 in Detroit, MI; daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Schneider Addy. As a young girl, the family moved to Milwaukee. Barb graduated from Nicolet High School.On March 11, 1986, Barb married Gereld Schwartz of Mercer in Hurley, WI. A few years later they moved to Port Washington, living on Park Street. During that time, Barb began working at Port Washington High School. Shortly thereafter she transferred to Thomas Jefferson Middle School, working as an educational support para-professional for over 20 years, retiring in 2016. She truly loved her job and the kids she mentored. Her vibrant personality and positive demeanor were shared daily. It was also during this time, Barb and her husband moved to Cedar Grove.Barb is survived by her husband Gereld; her siblings Alice (Mike) Hamilton of Joplin, MO, Mary (Elmer) Neuens of Brookfield, Terry Addy of Stanley and Tom (Brenda) Addy of Cascade; brother-in-law Rick Pagel of Milwaukee, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Schwartz family, nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers and kids from school, neighbors and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jo-Ann Pagel.A celebration of Barb's life will take place from 11AM-2PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at First Reformed Church, 237 S.
