Jeffery, Betty 84, passed away on December 1, 2016, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born on March 7, 1932 in Slaton, TX, to Francis Cornelius "Blackie" and Jewel "Judy" Eloise (Virdell) Smith. Betty enjoyed working word searches and will always be remembered for her sassy and flirty attitude. Betty is survived by her children, Wanda Jeffery, Mary Perkins, Cathy Williams (Doug), John Millwood (Lana), MaryAnn Espinosa (Johnny) and Bill Jeffery; siblings, Rita Wesche (Alan) and Jim Smith; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blackie and Judy; husband, Richard H. Jeffery; siblings, Ben, Ruby and Peggy; and great-grandchildren, Briley Perkins and Cherokee Johnson.
