Betty M. TrimboliApril 15, 1923 - Jan. 27, 2017MISHAWAKA - Betty Mary Trimboli passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017, in her home after a brief illness.Betty was born on July 15, 1923, in Massena, New York, to Sam and Mary (Mirando) Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ann Perry Palmer and Rosaline Perry; four brothers, Sam, Joseph, Anthony and Robert Perry.On September 2, 1950, she married Dominic Trimboli of Mishawaka, who survives. She is also survived by her children, Joseph (Susan) Trimboli of Mishawaka, Sam (Denise) Trimboli of Mishawaka and Betty Marie (Paul) Fisher of Bloomington, IN; sisters, Margaret Parisi of Fresno, California, Eleanor Skonieczny, Mary Jane Hayden of Massena, NY; brothers, John, Frank and Victor Perry, all of Massena, NY; her two grandchildren, Deborah (Gary) Gardner of Elkhart and Lisa Trimboli; and her new fiance, Jeremy Thompson of South Bend; and her four great-grandchildren, Megan, Brendon, Andrew and Bryce Gardner.Betty was the third oldest of 13 children, of which she was very proud. She was a devout Catholic and was a member at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where she volunteered her time taking care of the church linens. She helped the sisters at both St. Monica's Catholic Church where she monitored the playground and at Marian High School. Betty was a dedicated, hardworking homemaker as well as a wonderful Italian cook and baker. Prior to marriage, she worked as a seamstress. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known as the pasta grandma to her greatgrandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, but her memory will be lovingly cherished forever.Visitation will be on Monday, January 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary service at 6 pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka.
