Bill Hunt Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 78 of Ellensburg, WA passed away into the arms of the Heavenly Father on November 14, 2016. He died of natural causes peacefully at his home with loved ones around him. Bill was born on December 9, 1937, in Caldwell, Idaho to Francis Edgar Hunt and Velma Verna (Faulks). Bill Hunt Sr. is survived by his wife, Emma Jean (Couture). They recently celebrated 59 years of marriage. Together they had seven children: Timothy, Mona Lea, Bill Jr., Daniel, JoAnna, Andrew and Angel and two foster children: Ivan Lumala and David Zacky. They have 37 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Bill's parents, four siblings and two children (Mona and Daniel) preceded him in death. Bill was a veteran having served in the Air Force, worked in the space program, pursued his interest in electronics and eventually founded Huntron Inc. (an electronics manufacturing company). He was passionate about his faith and taught Sunday School most of his adult life. He was active on various boards and advisory councils across the state. A Memorial service was held on November 19, 2016, at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Kittitas County Chaplaincy, P.O. Box 994, Ellensburg, WA 98926-1925. Bill was instrumental in forming this organization and served on its' board until his death. Bill Hunt Sr. was truly a light for the Lord!
