Carole Brown, of Black Mountain, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on February 13, 1942, Carole lived a full and vibrant life.

Carole was known for her love of crafting, spending countless hours creating beautiful and unique pieces that brought joy to all who saw them. She could turn a simple piece of yarn or a scrap of fabric into a work of art with her skilled hands and creative vision.

She is preceded by her late husband Lloyd Brown. And she is survived by her two children, Cindy Ables and Heidi Brown Minor(Bruce Minor), her grandchildren Harold Ables Jr, Lloyd Ables(Emily Ables), Lane Minor, and CJ Minor, and her great grandchildren Tori Miller, Dakota Ables, and Everlee Ables. Carole was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.

Carole will be remembered for her quick wit and infectious laughter. She had a way of brightening up any room she entered and making everyone around her feel loved and cherished.

Although we will miss Carole deeply, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, creating masterpieces in the great crafting studio in the sky.
