Charles G. PaulAnderson, SCRetired 1SG USArmy Charles G. Paul Jr. passed away in his sleep the morning of May 9, 2017 at the home of his mother Ruth Paul. To family and friends, Charles was known as Chuck. He was born on October 11, 1963 in Greenville, NC. He grew up in Anderson, SC where he graduated from Westside High School class of 1982. He joined the army December of 82' and served in the 82nd Airborne Battalion. He was Airborne Infantry, a Jump Master, and Combat Infantryman. He retired in 2009 where he later became a Wounded Warrior advocate with SOCOM Care Coalition. He is survived by his daughters, Isabella and Gabriella Paul, wife Kristy Chapman Paul, mother Ruth Anderson Paul, sister Mechelle Lowie, nephews Robbie and Harley, niece Heather with great niece and nephew Kathryn and Jacob. Preceded in death by his father Charles G. Paul Sr., grandparents Paul and Aretta Anderson. A memorial service will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday May 20th at 1pm.Chuck was a good man. He was a devout soldier and a proud father. Honored, respected and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.
