Cheyrl Washington-James, beloved daughter of Roosevelt and Diane, passed away on July 23, 2024 in Riverside, California. She was born on May 22, 1966.

Cheyrl had no children of her own, but she had a large family of friends who cherished her lively spirit and infectious laughter.

She attended Sierra Nevada High School and graduated in 1984, before going on to the University of Las Vegas Nevada where she earned her degree in 2000.

Throughout her career at the State of California, Cheyrl made many friends with her warm personality and dedication to her work. She retired in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and kindness.

In her free time, Cheyrl loved to travel and explore new places. Her adventurous spirit and love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Though we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Cheyrl is now at peace, traveling to her heart's content in the great beyond.
