With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christian Paul B. Dumaup, a beloved father, son, cousin, nephew, friend, and mentor. Christian peacefully passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 40. Family and friends surrounded him.
Born on December 16, 1983, in Manila, Philippines, Christian grew up with a passion for the outdoors and a deep love for his community. He was gifted with a generous and compassionate heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He will give you the shirt off his back and give away his shoes when he sees someone needs them more. He is genuinely generous to a fault.
Christians find pleasure in little things and are always looking for possibilities and opportunities. Christian found his niche in photography and is a great dad to his son Kai. Christian is the eldest of five brothers and a great friend to many. Christian can learn things quickly; he is sharp and intelligent. He loves the Lord and knows he is not perfect. Christian mimics the Lord's giving heart. Many of his friends will tell you how generous and unselfish Christian is. Christian donated his entire body and organs to science. Up to the end of his life, he still has compassion to help others and a laugh that can infect many.
Christian is survived by his son Kai, his mom (Mita), his stepdad (Primo), his brothers Elijah, Isaac, James, and Simon, Ashlie, his ex-wife, aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces, as well as sisters and brothers from a different set of parents.
Christian's life will be celebrated at a later date. The date will be announced on Facebook, Instagram, or this obituary page.
Family, friends, and colleagues will remember Christian for his work as a photographer, dad, friend, and son, but most of all, as a man who is unselfish and generous to a fault.
