Cierra York, 12, of Denver, Colorado and Grove, Oklahoma, passed on September 15, 2020. After her courageous battle with Cancer. Cierra was born on December 22, 2007 at Denver ,Colorado, to Jacqueline and William York.
Cierras love for life was passionate. as seen in her many activities.
She participated in barrel racing, volleyball, softball. She played violin, piano, drums.
She was the reigning SW junior champion barrel racer for 12-16 year olds. Her softball team was state champions for two years with her behind the pitching mound. Her team will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Her young life was inspired by four sisters and a brother Lyndsey, Kay, Nicole, Ginn and Spencer, who will miss her dearly.
Cierra loved to ride her horses, and with her father Will, they often rode across much of the Colorado mountain areas.
Cierra was proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather and grandmother, a aunt and her best friend and fur baby Chief.
Whom she is running with through heavens fields. Her love for Chief and all animals was her strong passion, as a young activist for their safety, she inspired several charities and contributed to many.
Cierra will be laid to rest where her heart loved to be, at the family Colorado lake home.
Private grave side services are scheduled in Denver, CO on Sept. 18th, 2020, due to the ongoing circumstances, only direct friends and family will attend.
