Colleen M. Kelley (Wieber)Lansing Colleen passed away on February 13, 2017, surrounded by her family at the age of 81. Colleen was born on May 16, 1935 in Westphalia, the daughter of Harold and Romilda (Cook) Wieber who, along with her only sister Patricia (Carl) Pfaff, preceded her in death. Colleen married her beloved husband, of 56 wonderful years, Robert on May 21, 1960. She was a loving mother of 2 sons and a daughter: David (Paula) Kelley of Traverse City, Daniel (Mary Beth) Kelley of Grand Ledge and Carol (Jim) Pratt of Lansing. She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren: Sergei and Lera, Katie, Matthew, Bob, Daniel and Robert, AJ, Keegan, and Brynn. She was beloved by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Colleen worked at Bancroft Flowers and Employers Mutual until her marriage to Robert. Colleen was a homemaker until her children were grown and would enjoy working occasionally for Archie Tarpoff's Catering. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. Colleen's greatest passion were not only her children but caring for and supporting all of her grandchildren's lives by attending every concert, dance, musical or sport event. Friends and family will fondly remember the home baked treats and popcorn waiting for every guest who came to call. Colleen always loved spending the summers in Old Mission with her family. We will forever miss the presence and love of Colleen in our lives, but we will hold her memory forever in our hearts. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30AM at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 3815 W. Willow, Lansing with Rev. Fr. John Klein as celebrant. Rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw where the Vigil will be prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation continues on Thursday at the church at 9:30AM. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Lansing in memory of Colleen.
