SEVEN VALLEYS Cory A. Delp, 30, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He married his best friend, Becky (Bloom) Delp, on September 18, 2004. Cory was born on December 24, 1984, the son of Mark A. and Laurie (Healy) Delp of Seven Valleys. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, and on Friday, January 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Church. with the Rev. Adam Burtt officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., New Freedom, is assisting the family with arrangements. Cory was a 2003 high school graduate and owned and operated G3 Delp LLC construction company in Seven Valleys. He was a passionate, loving man, a hard worker, and enjoyed the outdoors. Cory was an active member of Grace Bible Church in New Freedom. In his spare time, Cory enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, playing practical jokes, and traveling. He loved life and especially enjoyed time spent with his family. Cory and Becky, along with their children, did everything together. In addition to his wife and parents, Cory was the "Greatest Daddy Ever" to his children, Samantha and Russell Delp, whom he loved immensely and was extremly proud of; the "Best Grandson" to Russell and Dee Delp, and Charles and Mary Ellen Healy; brother to Nicole McCleary and her husband, Casey; and uncle to their three children. He is also survived by his in-laws, Daniel and Kathy Bloom of Stewartstown; a sister-in-law, Shelly Keeny and her husband Jared; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cory Delp Benefit Fund at any Fulton Bank.
