It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Neal, who was born on July 7, 1964 and passed away on January 26, 2025 in Long Beach, California, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Cynthia was the beloved daughter of Summie Neal Jr. and Virginia Neal (Cooper), and was married to James Oliver. She was a loving mother to Dwight Hill, Virginia "Ginny" Neal, and Kenyatta Neal. She was also a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren-De’Mere, Jahir, Kason, Khyrie and Ja’Zir. 

Cynthia is survived by her siblings Larry Love (Alice)of Whittier Ca, Robert Neal of Compton Ca, Paula Goodall of Long Beach Ca, Micheal Neal of Fullerton Ca, Martin Neal  (Paulette) of Atlanta Georgia, and Sonya Neal of Las Vegas, Nevada along with a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

Cynthia went to Artesia High and ultimately graduated from Tracy High School in 1983. She had a love for going out with friends, dancing, and watching movies.

On January 26, 2025, Cynthia succumbed to the effects of a long term illness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
