Dagny Berg RACINE — Dagny Berg (nee: Hagen), 99, passed away in her sleep on July 10, 2015 after a long illness. Dagny was born on June 2, 1916 to the late Peder and Oline Hagen in Minneapolis, MN. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Berg in 1939 in Michigan. Dagny was a kind, generous woman and was always a lady. She was employed for 22 years at Zahn’s Department Store, retiring in 1978 as Personnel Manager. Dagny will be missed dearly by her son, Dennis (Annette) Berg; grandsons, James Clark of Racine, Brandon (Gina) Clark of Durango, CO, Brian (Kristen) Berg of Estes Park, CO, and Geoff (Kara Harris) of Gunnison, CO; five great-grandsons, Ryan, Noah, Jager, Gunnison, and August; and two sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; four brothers; one sister; and all of Lloyd’s 12 siblings. As per Dagny’s wishes there will be no traditional services. Cremation has taken place and her cremains will be interred at West Lawn Memorial Park alongside her husband, Lloyd.
