Daniel Smalls, 63, passed Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Daniel was born to Albert Smalls Sr, and Ethel Simmons, July 31, 1954.

Daniel graduated from Elizabeth High School. and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

 Daniel Smalls served his country as a Marksman m-16 1st class in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He was deployed in North Vietnam.

Daniel is survived by 3 children: Danny Sanders, Lisa Sanders, and Corey Sanders and their mother Josephine Sanders

Danny moved to Elizabeth NJ in the early 1960's as a young child where he attended Elizabeth Public School System. In 1973 Danny enlisted in the army where he served in the Vietnam War as a marksmen m-16 1st class he was in national defense. Danny was Honorably discharged in 1975

Danny was a sibling of six children and is predeceased by two brothers Albert Smalls Jr and Rayford Smalls and one sister Patricia He has two surviving sisters Paulette Towler(Herbert) and Alberta Thomas(Samuel) one aunt Corrine Collins and one sister-in-law Alice Small A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Danny was known and loved by many and his favorite saying to everyone was 'IAM YOUR UNCLE'

Danny last six years he lived at Andover Subacute & Rehab Center in Newton NJ where he was known as ONE HITTEM QUITTEM SMALLS because he was a fighter and he fought to the end. He was loved by all the staff and will be missed by them.
