ODESSA - David Lee Stice, 72, of Odessa, Texas, was born on April 6, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Raymond and Glyn Dean Stice. He passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Stice; his daughter, Lynn James; his two sons, Robert Stice and David Stice, Jr. and his eight grandchildren, John James, Joshua James, Jacob James, Katelynn Stice, Noah Stice, Zachary Stice, Serenity Stice and Logan DeMoss. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond V. "Jack" and Glyn Dean Stice, and by his brother, Jack O. Stice.Dad was a Sovereign Grace five point Calvinist. He was an entrepreneur, teacher, poet and author. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. We will see you again in heaven and miss you with all our hearts! Our daddy and beloved husband.A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by a burial at American Heritage Cemetery/Funeral Home/Crematory, 4100 N.
