Deborah Hall-Branch, who was born on September 11, 1955, Nat and Jessie Lee Hall in Philadelphia, Pa. (Who proceeded her in death).
She attended Strawberry Mansion High School and graduated in 1974. Deborah continued her studies at Temple University, graduating in 1978.
Deborah had a fulfilling career as a registered nurse at Beyada and later became the head of Information Technology at Osteopathic Hospital before retiring in 2000. She felt the nudge to begin writing her life story and experiences. This enabled her to dedicate her time to counseling men, women, and children who faced abuse and tragedies in life and many were healed in the process. She was dedicated to helping people overcome the stigmas that came along with being abused persons. She went on to on on of the top Theological Seminary Schools in the country Deliverence Evangelical University with a degree in Theological Studies. Which lead to her teaching Theological Studies at Cheney University and Georgia State University. She was licensed and ordained to the call of Prophetess/Teacher in the year of our Lord 1999, in 2021 she was installed as Overseer in ministry and her Pastors Rachel L. Harris Predecessor. She founded “Fruit of the Spirit Healing Ministries” and the great podcast “The Knitting Room”. She dedicated her time to help others by volunteering with the Susan G. Komen organization as a breast cancer survivor herself.
She will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and love for her family especially who she called “The Best Things That Ever Happened To Her” her two daughters Desiree Hall and Tina Hall Patterson; (from her previous marriage to Orlander J. Rodgers of whom passed away April 28, 2026) along with her faithful husband of thirty three years Pastor James C. Branch with whom she built a loving home built on the word of God. Deborah and “J” as dotingly called him had a marriage where they were truly the best of friends.
Deborah's battle with pancreatic cancer ended on May 16, 2026, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind to cherish her legacy:
her husband James C. Branch, her daughter’s Desiree Hall and Tina Hall-Patterson (Johnny Patterson) four grandsons Shaquille, Nafiec, Caleb, and Tristan. Three great grand sons Kaysen, Cylas, and Ashae. Her favorite cousins Jerome Davis, Sally Williams, and Algerron Williams. A host of nieces and nephews. Her one and only brother Nathanial Poppy Hall proceeded her in death.
Rest in peace, Deborah Hall-Branch. You will be deeply missed.
