Frederick, Delores JuneDelores J. Frederick, 94, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau with Rev. Paul Schupmann officiating. A visitation will also be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Fox Lake.Delores was born on June 17, 1922 in Sheboygan. She was the daughter of Louis and Amelia (Maedke) Serrahn. She was a 1940 graduate of the Algoma High School, and completed a 2 year nursing degree at the Lutheran Deaconess Hospital in Beaver Dam. On April 9, 1944, Delores was united in marriage with Wilbert Frederick in Algoma. Delores and Wilbert raised five children on the Frederick family farm north of Fox Lake. Delores was also a nursing assistant at Clearview in Juneau for over 7 years. Delores and Wilbert had a love of Christ, family, and friends that did not go unnoticed. She was an active member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau and a member of its Ladies Aid. She was a volunteer at the Bethesda Thrift Shop in Watertown. Delores enjoyed helping many friends with shopping and doctor visits and continued to be a pen pal with many people in the U.S. and other countries. She loved to bake cookies and bars for family and friends. She was an avid Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Bucks fan.She is survived by her 3 daughters; Elizabeth Schucknecht of Beaver Dam, Phyllis (Gene) Schreiber of Randolph, Marcia (Ernest) Garris of Kennesaw, GA, 2 sons; Terry (Maria) Frederick of Menominee, and Kevin Frederick of Horicon, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilbert in 1980, sister Ethel Lawrence, brothers: Rueben Serrahn, Karl Serrahn, William Serrahn, grandson Jay Schucknecht, and great grandson infant Zachery Nampel.If desired, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran School in Juneau.The family would like to say thank you to the Beaver Dam Community Hospital 3rd floor doctors and nurses for their kind and loving care of our Mother..The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
