Blackburn, Doloris "Dee Dee"Doloris "Dee Dee" H. Blackburn, 85, passed away at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac on May 2, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1932 to Willard and Genevieve (Tessner) Fero. Dee Dee married Lynn C. Blackburn on August 9, 1950. Dee Dee was a waitress all of her working years at Schreiner's Restaurant. She enjoyed yoga, golf and spending time at North Star Casino. Dee Dee also loved spoiling her beloved cat, Cookie.Dee Dee is survived by three children, Daniel (Pam) Blackburn, Diane (Scott) Vadnais and Dawn (Terry) Morrissey; 11 grandchildren, Carey, Heather, Tiffany, David, Joseph, James, Michael, Robert, Ryan, Trevor and Lennon; 16 great grandchildren, Michaela, Kayla, Justin, Hailey, Jacob, Emily, Arabella, Quintin, Evan, Amelia, Keaira, Jameson, Gavin, Bethany, Daisy Mae, and Juliet. She is further survived by a brother, David (Donna) Fero and her special friend, Rosie Braun. Dee Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn, her parents, one grandson, Jason, one great granddaughter, Avalon and one brother, Donald Fero.Dee Dee's family will greet relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 11:00 to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will be held at Noon.
