Donald A. Forrest 1957—2016Donald A. Forrest, 59, of Rockford, passed away October 31, 2016. He was born on May 11, 1957, in Rockford, the son of Donald Raymond and Esther Mae (Gibbs) Forrest. Don attended Auburn High School. He married Geraldine B. Domkouski July 23, 1988, in Rockford. Don worked as a mechanic for Rock River Water Reclamation for 23 years. He was a former member of the Polish Falcon's Club, an avid outdoorsman, and loved camping, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Russell Stanley Forrest, and Nicholas B. Dewey; sister, Linda (William) Holder; grandchildren, Logan, and Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and sister, Debra Ann Bell.Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 620 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford.
