Donald Anthony Frank Franks1931 - 2014Donald Anthony Frank Franks, 81, A lifelong Kenosha resident died on Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was born on Dec. 5, 1931, in Kenosha, the son of Anthony and Bertha Franks. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Florence and Joanne. He attended the University of Wisconsin, served in the U.S. Army, worked at Kenosha Auto Transport and worked at his fathers restaurant, the famous Kenosha landmark, Franks Diner.He is survived by two nieces and four nephews, long time friends John Arendt and John Gilmore, as well as a host of other friends and admirers. Per his request, there will be no services, but a celebration of Donalds life will take place at the Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum, 880 Green Bay Road, Kenosha, WIon Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
