SCPO (Ret.) Donald TriggsClarksville, TNSenior Chief (Ret.) Donald Wayne Triggs, age 72, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his very loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:30 until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Donald was born on August 25, 1944 in Hastings, Nebraska to the late Donald A. Triggs and Opal H. Grant Triggs. Donald was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church and was also a member of American Legion, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and VFW. He is survived by his wife, Carol Triggs; children, Maydean Triggs, Michael Triggs, Candice Triggs, Tabitha Ortiz, Cathryn Triggs, Hiram Triggs, Mikala Triggs, and Elizabeth Triggs; sister, Coleen Faughn; grandchildren, LaTesha McGee, Joshua Triggs, Ana Marie Ortiz, and Kristopher Edwards; great grandchildren, Dale McGee and Bronson McGee.
