Donna May Garlock1931 - 2017Donna May Garlock, age 85, of Idaho City, Idaho went to be with her loving husband Jess on January 29, 2017. Donna was born on October 9, 1931, in Weiser, Idaho to Clawson and Nancy Andrus they later moved to Boise. Donna graduated from Boise High and attended Grimms Business School. Donna went to work as a typist for the State Auditors office in 1953. In 1954 Donna married John Richard Smith of Risco, Missouri, and had one son the marriage ended after a year. Donna found and married the love of her life Jess Garlock and later married on June 9, 1961 together they had two children. Donna later moved to Idaho City, Idaho.Donna was preceded in death by her husband Jess, parents Clawson and Nancy, brother James and sisters Patsy and Mary. She is survived by son Don (Pamela) Garlock of Idaho City, ID; son Douglas (Tami) Garlock) of Nampa, ID; daughter Kris (Chuck) Cornia Roseburg, OR; 11 grandchildren Shawna (Matt) Schneiderman, Don Chad Garlock, Daniel Fisher, Denae Giron, Brad Deppel, Ashley Garlock, Nathan Garlock, and Douglas Garlock Jr., and 20 great-grandchildren.A private family service will be held at a latter time, under the direction of Relyea Funeral Home where Donna will be laid to rest with the love of her life Jess Garlock at Dry Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in her name.
