Doris Ann Deaton WileyJackson, TNDoris Ann Deaton Wiley, 82, passed away Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017 after a long term illness.Mrs. Wiley was born on May 15, 1934 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of Ernest N. and Merle Garland Deaton.She was a secretary for the Speech and Hearing Center in Jackson and First National Life Insurance Company in Birmingham, AL,. After retirement she was a volunteer for Jackson Madison County General Hospital and Regional Hospital. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim; son, Andy and his wife Amy; and two brothers, Robert Deaton and Bennie Deaton. Mrs Wiley was preceded in death by brothers Hugh Deaton and Charlie Deaton; and sisters, Nell Hart and Sue Scott.Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 24, 2017 from 12 - 2 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Active pallbearers to serve will be Archie Thomas, Dick Goddard, Bill Simmons, Ray Scott, Tom Carr, and Lindsey White.George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel, (731) 427-5555.
