Dorothy P. Walker1921 - 2013Dorothy Walker, 91, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at Valley VNA Senior Services Assisted Living in Neenah, with her daughters at her side. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, until two years ago when she moved to Neenah to be closer to family.Dorothy was the daughter of Howard Peterson and Florence Peterson Stoll. She was born on Aug. 27, 1921, in Racine. She graduated from Kenosha High School in 1939. She attended Lawrence College in Appleton, where she was a proud member of Delta Gamma Sorority.On Oct. 16, 1945, she married John P. Walker who was always there for her and happy to share life with her every day. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Kenosha.She is survived by her two daughters: Ann Ginke, Neenah; and Sara Walker, Milwaukee; her sons-in-law: Harold Ginke and Pat Dhein; two granddaughters: Elizabeth Albright, Appleton; and Margaret Ginke, Neenah; her granddaughters husband, Andy Albright; and her great granddaughter, Ella Albright.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Walker in 2003; her father, Howard in 1939; her mother, Florence in 1991; and an infant daughter in 1955.A private family ceremony is planned for the fall.
