Douglas DonaldsonDes MoinesDouglas Dusty Donaldson, 65, of Des Moines, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the VA Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held from 12 to 5 p.m., on February 25 at the Amvets Post 2. Douglas is survived by his two daughters Melinda and Melissa and sister Sally (Bob) Hershey. He was born on November 24, 1951, in Des Moines, the son of John "Red" and Eva Donaldson. Douglas graduated from Southeast Polk High School and then went on to serve in the United States Air Force. Douglas enjoyed working and getting to know people. Memorials may be directed to the family.
