Edward Emmitt AlumbaughNASHPORT: Edward Emmitt Alumbaugh, 45, of Nashport, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1967, in Terre Haute, Indiana, a son of the late Nickie Joe and Patricia Kniptash Alumbaugh. He worked as a self-employed painter for Dun-Right Painting. He was a member of the Meadow View Church of Christ.Surviving are his wife, Sherrie Hutchinson Alumbaugh of the home; a son, Scott Potter of Nashport; a daughter, Ashley Hutchinson of Nashport; two sisters, Betsy (Joe) Doerr and Ann Anderson; a brother, Mike P. Alumbaugh; several nieces and nephews; and two grandnieces.Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Meadow View Church of Christ, 6750 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating.
