ELAINE M. HEIMERDINGER, 91 FREEPORT - Elaine M. Heimerdinger, 91, of Freeport died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1922, in Stephenson County, IL, the daughter of William and Mary (Doyle) Raders. Elaine married Harold L. Heimerdinger on July 23, 1949; he died on June 25, 2002. Elaine worked for Dr. Born and Dr. Miller Dentist Office for many years. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the former Germania Club, Elks Lodge 617, and the VFW Auxiliary. Elaine is survived by eight nephews; three nieces; and also many great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Peg Raders and Marie Best; and four brothers, Joseph, Gerald, Harold, and Peter Heimerdinger. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Msgr. P. William McDonnell officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
