Wotruba, Elizabeth J. "Bette"Elizabeth J. "Bette" Wotruba, 90, Green Bay, died Monday, April 25, 2017. She was born on March 10, 1927, in Two Rivers to William and Leah (Wolfe) Ammerman.Bette was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers, Class of 1945. On September 20, 1947, she married Gerald J. Wotruba in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1998. Together they lived in Two Rivers until 1958 and later lived in Green Bay until 1972. Afterwards, they moved to Athelstane until 2000 when Bette moved back to Green Bay. Bette was a member of The Christian Ladies Society at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Silver Cliff, WI, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #66 in Silver Cliff.Bette is survived by her children and their spouses; Thomas and Barb Wotruba, Lee Wotruba, William and Carla Wotruba, Kathy and Tom Van Den Elzen, Cheryl Stumbris, Julie and Craig Laakso, Tina and Charles Glasso; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; a daughter, Kim Marie; and son-in-law, Dave Stumbris.Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Burial will be in Athelstane Cemetery.
