Miller, ElmerElmer Joseph Miller, age 92, of Menasha, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha. Elmer was born on June 27, 1925 in Neenah to the late Lyman and Mabel (Wilson) Miller. He worked at Consolidated Papers in Appleton and Nekoosa. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and camp. Elmer was a US Navy gunners mate in WWII.Elmer is survived by his daughters, Antoinette Webb, Menasha and Andi Staab, Appleton; sons, Mark (Marilyn) Miller, Appleton, Gregory (Kathie) Miller, Combined Locks, Monty (Yvonne) Miller and Kurt (Candie) Miller, Menasha; grandchildren, Ryan, David, Amanda, Joshua, Rachel, Hilary, Ashley, Kathryn, Melissa, Zachary, Brent and Lea and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Mijsa, Quinn, Karsyn, Adrian, Savian, Jules, Felix, Chloe, Wesley, Addison, Braeden and Evelyn. Elmer is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; sisters, Lois (Clyed) Fleming, Joyce (Ed) Manske and Ione (Paul) Gartzke.The funeral service for Elmer will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville on Friday, November 3, 2017. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Hortonville.The family wishes to thank the staff at Prairie Homes, especially Linda, Jen, Whisper and Michelle.
