Eric Cedric Watson (Tootie), 17, was unarmed when shot and killed. 

Eric was born on April 15, 2003, and passed away on August 22, 2019, the day when his deceased great-grandmother Dr. Sylvia Pennington--his role model--was born. 

Eric had no criminal records and had never been in trouble with the law. A great, civil African American citizen, Eric was a dreamer, adventurer, a humanitarian and many great adjectives and nouns. He was a highschool senior preparing to graduate this upcoming spring. His plan was to get his B.A. & M.A. in Business Communications, Spanish language, and minors in Health & Nutrition. He loved education. An individual who overcame the challenges of being gay and black in this world, he was a true role model for everyone who knew him.

May his death be a reminder of the ungodly deaths and injustice acts made from hate an misunderstanding.

Eric Watson was once a man upon this Earth, yet he is no longer.
