Erika A. LehrYORKErika A. (Pudell) Lehr, 93, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Country Meadows at Trolley Road. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Lehr. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with her pastor, The Rev. Beth Schlegel, officiating. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. Private burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.Erika was born on February 13, 1922, in Essen, Germany, a daughter of the late Alexander and Margaretha (Rember) Pudell. She met her husband Dale while he was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. In 1947 they were married in Lichtenfels, Germany, and she immigrated to the U.S. when her husband returned from his foreign service. In York, Mrs. Lehr had worked for Futer Bros.
