Eva DavidsAugust 19, 1920 - March 24, 2013Eva Pearl Lewis Davids, 92, of Pocatello, Idaho, formerly of Bancroft passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Pocatello.Eva was born on August 17, 1920 in Bancroft, Idaho the daughter of LeRoy Wilford and Pearl Higginson Lewis.Eva was raised and educated in Bancroft and attended North Gem High School.She married Floyd Oscar Ranstrom on September 30, 1936. They were later divorced.She married Joel Willard Davids on December 8, 1943 in the Ogden Utah LDS Temple. Joel passed away on July 9, 2003. Eva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.She was the Bancroft City Clerk for 25 years and also worked in the potatoes and on the farm.Eva was a member of the Homemakers Club and was also Grand Marshall for the 24th of July Parade in Bancroft.She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, taught dance, sang on the radio and playing the piano.Eva is survived by her daughter Debi Jo Lambert of Pocatello, ID, and 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and one sister Sue Alder (Marlene Hansen). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joel W. Davids, and her children Billie Dawn Wynn, Emery LeRoy Davids (Lucky), Anita Sue Barfuss, and four brothers Donald LeRoy, Fay, Ned and Grant, two sisters Wanda Joy Christensen and Phoebe.Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Bancroft LDS Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Friday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 at the Church prior to services.
