Evelyn Mayor, 82, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Evelyn was born to Mary Johnson, May 19, 1937 in Bronx, New York. She married Carmelo Tables in 1975, and they lived together in Charlotte.

Evelyn is survived by 4 children: Pandora Tables (Derrick Forest), Mario Tables, Sylvia Pristell (Deceased), and Vivian Tables, who all love and miss her very dearly. 

She was to be described as a very stern yet caring woman, willing to aid others whenever she could. She often spent holidays at a nearby soup kitchen, or helping fund raisers in the Charlotte Area. 

Evelyn grew up quite poor in New York, yet she came into wealth when her husband Carmelo, won a small fortune off the lotttery in 1988 and used much of the money to assist her family who was spread across the tri state area. 

All in all, Evelyn was a delightful person, and her Family wishes her peace in the after life.
