Franklin "Lumpy" Tregle, Oakland, California passed away peacefully in the company of his wife on the morning of August 15, 2015 at the age of 93 1/2. He is survived by his wife Helen, his five daughters, Sheila, Anita, Sandy, Brenda, and Linda, his son Charles. Eight grandchildren, Darryl, Helena, Jermaine, Sanmit, Brandon, Ranjit, Minnie, and Racheal. Seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla, Devyn, Taliya, Darryl Jr., Darrin, and Lino.
He was born in New Orleans, LA to Joseph and Fannie Tregle. He graduate from Xavier College, and joined the US Army in 1941 during WWII. After the war, he was transferred to California where he met and married his wife. He worked at the Alameda Naval Air Station and retired after 42 plus years. In addition to working at the Naval Air Station, he worked Associated Tax Service along with his friend John Lang for almost 45 years. He enjoyed music, dancing, bowling, playing cards and dominoes. He especially enjoyed reading the newspaper. He loved people, life, and his family.
