It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Lynn Maples Jr., who left this world on June 6, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Gary Lynn Maples Sr., who was not only a parent but also his #1 hero. Their bond was immeasurable, and Gary carried the lessons and love of his father with him every day. His legacy lives on through his daughter, Carolyne Maples, who was the absolute light of his life. Gary's heart was full as he embraced the joys and challenges of fatherhood, pouring his soul into being the best dad he could be. Also Preceded in death by very special man Ernie Kidwell , Cousin Sammy Scott and life long friend Zachary Collin’s .
