Delnat, 82, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Springer Healthcare in Mishawaka.George was born on January 27, 1934 to Urbain and Germaine (Geldhof) Delnat. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Thomas Morgan and a sister, Georgette DerbinOn July 7, 1956 he married Mary Dykes; she preceded him in death on April 21, 2010. Surviving are his children, Melanie (Rudy) Espinoza of Nappanee, IN, Gregory (Cindy) Delnat of Mishawaka, Laura (Gary) Strassell of Maineville, OH and Andrew (Chris) Delnat of W. Terre Haute, IN; eight grandchildren, Amy (Lars) McCain, Joseph Morgan, Aaron (Wanda) Morgan, Gregory Delnat Jr., Michael Strassell, Erin Strassell, William Strassell, Benjamin Delnat; three step grandchildren, Amy Houser, Sarah Shelby, and Andrew Hawkins; three great grandchildren, Ryan and Erika Morgan and Reid McCain.George worked for Foam Technology for 21 years before he retired in 1999. He was a Veteran of the United States Army; a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church and BK Club in Mishawaka.Visitation will be on Sunday, November 13 from 2 to 6 in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 14 at 10 a.m. in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka with Rev. Barry England officiating.
