George Alan Rice, originally of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away suddenly in Hanover, Pennsylvania, on July 21, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Annabeth Rice. While life brought its share of complex paths and distance, his family chooses to remember his humor, his spirit, and the bright moments he shared with others.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Wharf, and his four children: Ashly, Dustin, Amber, and Georgie, who carry his memory forward and find comfort in the best parts of who he was.

Services will be held privately for immediate family to reflect on his life and honor his memory.
