Glen Clevenger Smith1936 ~ 2016Glen Clevenger Smith passed away on November 9th, 2016, in Sandy Utah.Glen was born on March 21st, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho to George K. Smith and Verneda North Stiffler Smith. Glen served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953-957. He married Ellen Ann Hancey in Twin Falls, Idaho on March 11th, 1960. Glen worked for Kennecott for more than 33 years as a journeyman, boilermaker, millwright, and welder. He lived in Riverton for 48 years where he and his wife raised two sons. He loved boating, camping, and fishing with family and friends.He is survived by his sons, Michael G. Smith (Nancy) and Scott C. Smith, his brothers Kenny (Billie) and Larry (Vangie), his sister Radene English, and four grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his wife Ellen, his parents, and one sister. Dad, you will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:30 am prior to the service at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, Utah.
