Gloria Freeman Skurnik, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2016 in Palm Beach County after a struggle with Alzheimer's. Gloria was born on Nov 3, 1926 in Revere Beach, Massachusetts, daughter of Charles and Gertrude Freeman. She had one brother, Ronald Freeman. She was a loving and faithful wife to Alan Milton Skurnik for 69 years, whom predeceased her. She is survived by her sons, Richard and Barry; daughter, Gillian and 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Colby and Joshua. Gloria was one of the real beautiful people of the world both inside and out. Her smile was infectious and you could not help smiling back at her. When she walked into a room everyone was aware that she was someone special. She won many beauty pageants throughout her life. She loved to dance and was an avid artist. She loved animals and always had a dog on her lap. There will be a funeral service for Gloria on Wednesday, December 14th at 11am in the Chapel of Star of David, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33412.
